Strategies

Strategy planning is a semi-formal meeting of people to discuss and plan a strategy for an event or a series of events. It is used to outline a series of steps and responsibilities needed to reach a particular outcome or goal. The sessions can have elements of seminars, discussion forums and training in order to reach a desired outcome, but the principal goal is to develop an outline of a process needed to achieve a particular goal. At ECIE we can help you develop strategy plans, especially as related to the Hispanic population.

seminars

A seminar is a meeting for giving and discussing information, usually in a classroom setting and with a focus on a particular subject. A seminar is likely to have a single presentation followed by a discussion of the material presented. Our goal at ECIE is to create a method to deliver on-line seminars over the Internet at a reasonable price and reaching a wider audience. We can also help you tailor your live seminar towards the Hispanic population.

Conferences

A conference is a meeting of a group of people discussing matters of concern, usually a formal exchange of views. A conference generally has a panel of experts in a particular field, and who make a presentation on their subject of expertise. The presentation can be followed with a question and answer session. A conference can be characterized as an organized presentation of views with limited discussion. As with the seminars, our goal at ECIE is to develop on-line methods for delivering conferences at reasonable prices to a wider audience. We can also help you tailor your conference for Hispanic populations.

Discussion Forums

A Forum is a public meeting or lecture involving audience discussion. The primary focus of a forum is in being open to the public instead of focusing on a particular field. A forum shares information in an open and free environment and accessible to anyone, regardless of their position or status. At ECIE we offer email discussion lists for providing discussion forums to a wide audience and at a reasonable price. We can offer you bilingual delivery of discussion forums, translating between English-Spanish and Spanish-English.

Training

Training can be formal or informal, and it can include only one subject or it can encompass a range of subjects. Training can fall within the realms of seminars, forums and workshops. Training is less strictly defined as those mentioned and it can easily encompass all of them as methods of instruction. At ECIE we are working toward being able to provide on-line training at reasonable costs. We also provide live training on our premises on computer basics, internet basics and how to begin using the tools of Information and Communication Technologies. We can also help you tailor and deliver training material to the Hispanic population.
